The Diversity in Wine Leadership Forum Orgs

Organizations participating in the Forum work in different capacities and with different communities. Each organization has a website that further describes their initiatives, programs, and resources. Organizations are invited to join the Forum on an annual basis with a sliding scale membership fee. Our annual collaborative fundraiser aims to replenish fees and equitably distributes funds raised to all member organizations.

Wine industry businesses and individuals are invited to consider partnership, donations, and other support with these organizations where appropriate. The organizations’ own websites include further information about their programs, and offers opportunities to reach them directly, or donate.

This list serves as a central resource to our community of trade, consumers, and supporters.

The Veraison Project works to create greater equity within the wine industry through four key initiatives: Sponsorship, Masterclass Education, Mentorship and Networking, and Apprenticeship. The Sponsorship initiative provides funding to wine education for applicants seeking to expand their studies in wine. The Veraison Project provides Wine Business Masterclasses led by experienced wine professionals for the sake of providing inside knowledge across all aspects of wine business. As the wine industry is largely dependent on personal relationships and connections, the Mentorship and Networking initiative connects participants to a personal mentor across three-levels of mentorship commitment. These mentorships also help build direct connections to those providing employment. The Apprenticeship program partners with companies with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion to create job opportunities for individuals seeking further career development and experience.
